First off....HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yes, I'm a little late to the party but I've been keeping busy! I figured I would give a quick update on how I will be navigating DeviantArt moving forward as there have been many changes to this platform since I was last regularly active on it. I will be continuing to post art regularly in order to keep my galleries on DA up-to-date with the items posted on other platforms. HOWEVER, my engagement overall on this site won't be as high of a priority compared to other platforms. Since DA has removed the ability to sell art as physical prints, I quite frankly see less of an incentive to engage with others. I'm at a transition point in my art journey where the eyeballs and favourites/comments are great, but the actual sales would be better. Seeming my content works better on physical items, I will unfortunately have to prioritize my social time promoting my work on other platforms that still allow for the sale of my work on physical items.
